I am pleased to welcome you to our Idyllic state, Baja California Sur. 
Welcome to all competitors and their families, to the renowned supporters, to the media, and to the Score International team; a heartfelt welcome to each of you, this is your home.
This 56th edition of the Baja 1000 Off road race is historic, first of all, because Score International is celebrating its 50th anniversary; and within this framework, La Paz, our beautiful capital will be the starting point of this important world-class competition, which will take place from south to north of the peninsula.
I would like to highlight the significant benefits that the Baja 1000 brings to our state in regards of  tourism, which is our main economic engine, and for the international exposure of our beautiful destinations, due to the coverage in 25 countries.
But mainly, it is necessary to express the importance of the Baja 1000 for the citizens of Baja California Sur, which are big supporters, since this great event is a tradition for the families, due to the atmosphere of togetherness that Baja 1000 generates. 
Therefore, those of us who live in Baja California Sur are pleased to be part of the 56th edition of this race, which will pass into the history of off road, being shared from generation to generation.
Once again my gratitude to Score International and especially to its management team, for the interest and commitment  to carry out this competition responsibly and always taking care of the most precious thing we have, our natural heritage.
I hope you have a great stay, and a unique experience during the race.
I encourage you to enjoy our tourist attractions, the natural beauties and the abundant cultural diversity that we have.

It is an honor for me to welcome you once again to our city of La Paz and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of SCORE International. For the first time, we will witness the beginning of this great race from the heart of Baja California Sur, on a route that offers you the best the journey through a place where the desert and the sea come together to create unparalleled landscapes.
We hope that you, your families, and your teams have an unforgettable time in our municipality. Enjoy our traditional food like fish tacos, partake in outdoor activities such as swimming with sea lions at Isla Espíritu Santo, and meet the whale sharks that calls our bay home.
Welcome to the Municipality of La Paz, a place where environmental conservation, water, and our surroundings are a top priority. Feel safe and at home, and take care of it as much as we do.

It is an honor to warmly welcome you to one of the most anticipated event in the world of off-road: the SCORE Baja 1000 race, which this year celebrates its 
50th anniversary SCORE International.
On this occasion, the most demanding competition of the World Desert Championship will surprise us with a change of route, starting from La Paz to Ensenada, offering, as in each edition,a unique journey that will leave the competitors with a different challenge than what we have seen in previous decades.
Since its inception in 1967, the SCORE Baja 1000 has been an iconic event that attracts enthusiasts and adventurers from around the world, eager to test their skills and vehicles in the most challenging territories of the Baja California Peninsula.

During these 50 years of trajectory, the SCORE Baja 1000 has become much more than a competition; It is a symbol of perseverance, team spirit and passion for off-road sports. Through the harshness of the desert and the natural beauty of Baja California, this race has created community in our state among participants, sponsors and spectators. This is why the Government of Baja California is proud to be a part of this historic edition and support this event that has been a driving force for tourism, the economy and culture in our region. We hope that all the competitors and visitors enjoy the Baja Californian hospitality. We are committed in providing all the necessary support to make this new edition of the SCORE Baja 1000 a resounding success like it has been every year and ensure that all participants and spectators enjoy the best experience.

Dear SCORE Racers, Sponsors, Media, Fans, and Staff,

Congratulations to SCORE International for 50 years dedicated to Off-Road racing in Ensenada. For more than fifty years, off-road racing has been a fundamental part of Ensenada's history and identity, thanks to which we have been positioned as one of the best places in the world to carry out this type of activity.

Without a doubt, the off-road races that are held year after year have become a tradition that has passed from generation to generation among the citizens of the various municipalities of the state of Baja California and Southern California, but mainly Ensenada. Every year we hope that SCORE international off-road races bring us new emotions, as well as important economic benefits and greater tourism promotion worldwide for our municipality.

This year we will celebrate the 56th edition of the SCORE BAJA 1000 race, taking care at all times of compliance with the health protocols implemented by the health authorities. Our streets will look crowded with racing fans, as in previous editions I invite you to enjoy our many attractions and services, such as our gastronomy, the Valle wine region Guadalupe and our craft beer that you cannot stop tasting on your visit to our city and first-rate lodging facilities.

I wish you a pleasant stay in Ensenada and in the communities that are on the route traced by SCORE INTERNATIONAL wish all the teams of racers a safe race and the greatest of successes in this new edition of the mother of all Baja races.
